The Venue

The vision for the Centrepoint Venue is the creation of a public community space for residents, visitors and artists around the world or around the corner, a place where people can socialise, work, learn or relax: the heart of the local area. In essence - a traditional community centre with a contemporary feel!

In addition to a Theatre, Bistro Restaurant, Internet Café, Bookshop and Music Studios, the Centrepoint Venue will host a variety of activities including public performances, community groups, rehearsals, conferences, evening classes and other educational opportunities! It will become a place where people can explore new hobbies, meet new friends and become part of a wider community! It will also become a vibrant hub for the youth work strategy - and a true ‘HANGOUT’ place!

The Venue’s interior will pulsate with colour, light and creative ideas, as befits the vibrant and exciting community it will serve. Full of style and verve, the buillding will be a dramatic and dynamic environment for any event, whether everyday business, pleasure or celebration.
